Showcase IDX Real Estate Search & Lead Capture

Support Scope: 

What is IDX?

IDX (Internet Data Exchange) enables real estate websites to display up-to-date property listings by connecting to MLS (Multiple Listing Service) data feeds. These feeds provide real-time updates and operate on a monthly subscription model, similar to how Netflix streams content as long as the subscription remains active.

 

What’s included?

1. Installation and activation of Showcase IDX on your WordPress site.

2. Assistance with entering the MLS registration key (which you must obtain from your provider).

3. Configuring basic widgets and search shortcodes on your site.

 

What’s NOT included?

1. Setting up your Showcase IDX account – this must be done by the customer.

2. Handling MLS approval or API registration with the IDX provider.

3. IDX service requires a paid subscription, separate from the plugin itself.

Requirements for Setup: 

A Showcase IDX account is required (must have an active subscription).

Your MLS provider must be supported by Showcase IDX. Check supported MLSs here.

A registered real estate agent with a valid MLS license is required for testing.

Installation: 

Download and Install the Plugin

• In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New
• Search for Showcase IDX
• Click Install Now, then Activate the plugin

Connect to Your Showcase IDX Account

• Navigate to Dashboard → Showcase IDX
• Login with the customer MLS account

Configure Search & Listings

• Use the Showcase IDX Widgets to add search features
• Add listings to pages and posts using shortcodes
